All About Ty.
Tyasha “Ty” Harris is a WNBA guard for the Conneticut Sun. In April 2020 Ty was drafted 7th overall to the WNBA in the 2020 Draft by the Dallas Wings. Traded to the Connecticut Sun in January 2023.
Shortly after signing with WNBA Ty wanted her talents to be known around the world so she signed a European contract to play in Turkey for Bellona Kayseri Basketbol. She made her WNBA debut in July 2020 with 13 points and 6 assists while shooting almost 60% from the field. She then became the the first female basketball player to sign a shoe deal with Under Armor.
Before turning pro, Ty attended South Carolina University where she was the starting point guard for 127 out of 139 games. She scored over 1000 points and holds the All Time
Single Season and Career record for assists and were she help guided them to their 1st ever NCAA title for the 2016/2017 season.
